5 formula feedings (plus 1 midnight feeding), plus 3 solid food feeding; all times listed is approximate. Be flexible; Try to follow eat -> play -> sleep -> eat pattern
Feed water whenever she wakes up from nap, or has been playing for too long. She needs up to 3~4 oz water in a day.
6:50AM wake up; 1st thing is to let her drink as much warm water as she can take; change diapers; change from sleep sack to sweaters
Breakfast
1st Formula feeding
7:20AM (~30 min after she wakes up): 4 oz
1st Solid food feeding
8 AM (40~50 min after formula feeding): ½ tea cup oatmeal + fruit puree (total ~2 oz)
1st Nap
90 to 120 min from the time she’s awake. Sometimes she would be too tired (get up too early or sleep too late), she may need to nap before 1st solid food feeding. In that case simply reverse the order of the solid food feeding and nap. This nap should be between 30~60 min
Play time after the nap
Lunch
2nd Formula feeding
11AM (+/- 30 min): 4 oz
2nd Solid food feeding
12AM (+/- 30 min): ¾ tea cup rice cereal+ 1 oz Gerber/Earth Best dinner with meat (total ~3 oz)
2nd Nap
This nap in general is around 12 AM (+/- 30 min)– look for tiredness sign. This nap can be right after the 2nd formula feeding or after the 2nd solid food feeding. If she was already tired, let her nap first before feeding her rice cereal. This nap should be between 30~60 min
Play time, Parent’s lunch time
Afternoon Snack
3rd Formula feeding
2:15 PM (+/- 20 min): 4 oz
(Optional)
3:15 PM: 1 to 2 oz freshly expressed apple juice/pear juice
3rd Nap
A two-hour (between 90 min to 150 min) are long nap around 3 PM. She may be showing signs of tiredness earlier on, or if she slept too little in the morning, let her nap earlier.
Dinner
4th Formula feeding
5:40 pm (+/- 15 min): 4 oz
3rd Solid food feeding
6:30 pm: ¾ tea cup rice cereal+ 1 oz Gerber dinner with meat (total ~3 oz)
Try not to feed her after 7pm.
Before sleep
7:50pm: bath, lotioning
5th Formula feeding
8:10pm: 4 oz
Sleep by 8:45pm
Midnight
~11:30pm: 3 oz formula, feed her while asleep
